Data handling and external services

This plugin talks to the Webixso platform to load your accounts and templates and to create or publish posts.

What the service is used for

• Reading your connected social accounts and design templates.
• Creating and publishing posts (with or without designs) to the accounts you select.

What data is sent and when

When you connect the site or manage accounts, the plugin sends authentication data and basic site context (for example site URL) so Webixso can verify access and list accounts and designs.

When you share a post (manually or by automation), it may send:

• Post fields such as title, excerpt or trimmed body, categories, tags, and permalink URL.
• Selected social account IDs (and where relevant, page or board identifiers).
• Optional image URL (featured image or first image in the content).

If automation is on, this can happen in the background according to your schedule and rules.

Where the data goes

Requests go to the Webixso API on https://webixso.com. The plugin uses a base path such as https://webixso.com/api/v1/external.
